What is it about?

In this project, we propose a set of solutions for driver-assistant. Just relying on the smartphone's capabilities, the existing Internet infrastructure, and fog/cloud computing can the proposed approaches be acceptable in this project. This is a crucial and unavoidable principle that guarantees the applicabilities of these approaches in developing countries with no special and advanced requirement. Achieving safety as a primary goal and the other ones such as decreasing travel time, increasing passenger comfort, eco, and green driving as the secondary is the purpose of this project.

Why is it important?

There has been a long debate surrounding how humans can do their tasks more conveniently and efficiently. Computers have come to help us to achieve this desire faster. Driving as a hard real-time or safety-critical system has been no exception. Therefore, many studies have been conducted to create driver-assistant or autonomous vehicles during the last decade in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
