theoretical investigation of a Modern optic waveguide which is segmented slot waveguide, This waveguide structure was used as a core of integrated waveguide modulator. The study focus on reducing the applied operating voltage (Vπ) of the modulator based on improving overlap integral factor. The novelty of research was based on optimizing parameters of segmented slot waveguide such slot width, periodicity, segment width, and duty cycle to achieve the high overlap integral factor.
