What is it about?
The paper considers the optimization issue of eight dipole antennas array surrounding the tested object. The goal was to maximize the specific absorption rate (SAR) in the target volume, while minimizing the same parameter in the outer object. The SAR optimization was prepared by means of the powers (amplitudes) and the phases used to excite the individual antenna elements of the array. Presented consideration may have a great importance in tumor targeted thermal therapy.
