What is it about?

The lack of information sharing in the management of the stock causes significant costs and low quality of service. In order to decrease these effects, several organizations have directed to the performance evaluation of the inventory management systems using indicators. Some authors have tried to define improvement paths in terms of models to meet performance criteria and to integrate risk in forecasting and stock management through probabilistic models. Among these models, the graphical models are the most used for example the Bayesian networks and petri nets. Based on the literature and analysis made earlier, this work consists of developing a supply performance assessment model based on petri nets and taking into account the obsolescence parameter (dead stock) in the supply management of the inventory of spare parts. Also, we will present the influence of some parameters on the system through a simulation study.

Perspectives

In perspective, we aim to make an analytical study and simulation of the proposed model for the system of supply of spare parts.
