Why is it important?
The structure is analyzed of the decision support system for the diagnosis of mental illnesses, which makes it possible to improve the quality of the treatment and diagnostic process in psychiatry, and is characterized by a hierarchical, interactive database structure and a testing module that implements the method of discrimination of concept properties.
Perspectives
It was decided to apply the apparatus of fuzzy set theory to solve the problem of medical diagnostics, after problem analyzing and exploring the domain of tasks in the development of software for medical diagnostic systems. Fuzzy inference algorithms were compared to their errors, and the best of them was selected according to some criteria.
