This research proposes a system to manage door lockers using blockchain and IoT. Therefore, the process to grant access to properties and rooms can be executed without face-to-face interactions.

Why is it important?
This research is essential because it enables remote access control management while guaranteeing security and privacy for both hosts and guests.
Perspectives
When we wrote this paper, the main objective was to address the emerging demand for access control automation in the hosting industry, like Airbnb. However, nowadays I think this research becomes crucial as this technology can help avoid the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) while also contribute to the reactivation of the economy.
