What is it about?
The aim of this research work is to develop an effective method to classify the various cultivars of Durio zibethinus (or commonly known as durian) based on the crop’s visual features via the application of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to improve the accuracy and speed of the cultivars recognition.

Why is it important?
With the recent rising demand of durian in the global market, there is a need for a accurate way to quickly and effectively differentiate the types of the different cultivars of durian by using computer vision and artificial intelligence.
