Why is it important?
Building Information Modeling (BIM) encompasses the design, construction, maintenance, management and documentation of built environment activities such that it improves the management decisions of the project stakeholders and enhances the benefits derivable from a constructed facility although it life cycle.
Perspectives
This publication discusses the application of BIM as a tools in monitoring the structural health condition of a building project.
