What is it about?

Abstract— The progress that occurs in technology should be positively reflected on the rest of the sciences, especially the medical aspect, which should be the biggest beneficiary of this progress, especially in the process of diagnosing diseases, because a good diagnosis of diseases will be appropriate treatment. One of the diseases that diabetes patients suffer from is ulcers, and the earlier they are diagnosed and discovered, the greater the chance of treatment. Therefore, this article presents a method based on the latest deep learning techniques in detecting these skin ulcers, as the vision transformer was relied upon to detect these ulcers after the model was trained on a dataset of more than 2000 images divided into 80% for training and the rest for testing. The test results proved the ability of the proposed system to detect ulcers.
