What is it about?

In this paper, we focus on the topic of BDA for earthquake management, where we present a review of the main state-of-the-art approaches based on BDA techniques for earthquake management. In this setting, the essential aim is to structure the main existing works into relevant categories. Another purpose is to identify the principal open issues and the future research directions in this field. So, earthquakes are therefore one of the most serious and unpredictable forms of natural disaster, often resulting in a considerable number of casualties and significant economic losses

Why is it important?

BDA play a crucial role in earthquake management, providing valuable insights for understanding and predicting seismic events. They enable the detection, the evaluation of seismic risks and the identification of high-risk areas. In this paper, we review some relevant existing literature on the BDA for earthquake management and propose a classification that categorizes the cited works into two main levels

Perspectives
