What is it about?

Haptic or Tactile/Force feedback systems allow development of novel user interfaces that can increase the student's attention and facilitate concept understanding. We present a haptic-based training tool for High-school physics students, illustrating the Pascal's principle for Hydraulics.

Why is it important?

This is an important haptic-based interface complementing K-12 education tools that has the potential to revolutionize how important concepts are presented.

Perspectives

I have co-authored this paper with one of my advisees during her Master of Science work in Computer Science. We hope to help improve student understanding of fundamental concepts and provide instructors with advanced tool to help present complex concepts.
