What is it about?
This paper presents a smart intravenous (IV) infusion system that automatically manages the delivery of medication and enables real-time remote monitoring of patients. It integrates IoT sensors, flow control mechanisms, and wireless communication to enhance patient safety and reduce manual errors in clinical environments.

Why is it important?
Traditional IV systems rely heavily on manual monitoring, which can lead to overdosing, underdosing, or complete infusion failure if not caught in time. Our system tackles these issues by using real-time sensor data and intelligent automation to ensure accurate medication delivery and immediate alerts in case of anomalies. This is especially critical in high-stress hospital settings with limited staff or during emergencies.
Perspectives
Working on this project made me realize how much of a difference technology can make in healthcare. As a student, building something that could genuinely help patients and reduce errors felt meaningful. It pushed me beyond just coding and circuits, it taught me to think like a problem-solver.
