What is it about?

This paper proposes a 6LoWPAN network simulator. The simulator implements mechanism for building the best route and tracking the status of every available option to ensure the transmission of emergency information as well as recording the number of attempts to retransmit packets.

Perspectives

This paper presents a mechanism for prioritizing emergency traffic and choosing the most preferred route in the 6LoWPAN network. A simulation framework has been developed to explore the mechanism under consideration. As a result based on considered mechanism proposed simulator shows shortest and best route for emergency packets, and serve these packets with priority.
