What is it about?

The article goes into detail about biometrics and usability, specifically to the HSBI model for dynamic signature verification because the generic model for HSBI is simply not enough for dynamic signature verification. The findings in this paper relate to the basis of a legitimate, genuine signature and not to a forgery. There are five major interactions regarding digital signature verification in this new HBSI model, which, include defective interaction, concealed interaction, false interaction, failure to process and failure to detect.

Why is it important?

Biometrics and usability are important facets to performance. This article aims to take the human biometric sensor interaction model that we have developed in the center, this time from the perspective of dynamic signature verification. One interesting part of the signature is that it is very much a behavioral component, and people can elect to change their signature based on the device.

Perspectives

Dynamic signature verification has always interested me, and so this work really takes that interest, and ties it back to how people sign, and the interaction they have with the device.
