What is it about?
Denial-of-service (DoS) attacks are an important network phenomenon, causing damage to organizations that rely on their Internet presence. Slowloris is a type of application layer DoS attack. We realized a series of emulations of Slowloris attack in a testbed, and in this paper we present some of the results, showing the performance of the web server under attack.

Why is it important?
Most of the published research on Slowloris attack deals with detection and/or mitigation of the attacks. In this paper we present data on the effect the attack has on the web server performance.
