What is it about?
To build a mathematical model of the dependence of road accidents on the parameters of the road situation at the site, the data obtained were analyzed using the Deductor 5.3 analytical platform by several popular methods, including neural networks of three different configurations.

Why is it important?
The developers were assigned the task of analyzing road safety management in urban environments and developing an automated system for analyzing road conditions on a particular stretch of road. Purpose of the system: use in the design of road infrastructure.
Perspectives
As a result of the work done, a model was built that allows to get the correct result of the analysis of road conditions in 95% of cases with 11 significant parameters of the traffic situation on the site. It was found that 84% accuracy can be achieved with a smaller number of parameters than 11 significant parameters in the first case.
