What is it about?
This paper explains how blockchain data can be accessed more efficiently by very small, low-power devices such as smart cards and IoT sensors. It introduces TEASLe, a lightweight indexing method that helps these devices find relevant blockchain records quickly without storing or searching the whole blockchain. This makes blockchain more practical for constrained devices with limited memory, processing power, and network bandwidth.

Why is it important?

TEASLe is valuable because it brings blockchain closer to real-world IoT and smart-card applications, where efficiency, low power use, and fast access matter as much as security.
