Engaging nursing students and older adults through service-learning

What is it about?

Older adults over 65 are the fastest growing segment of American society but as they age many experience social isolation from friends and family members resulting in loneliness, depression and other psychological difficulties. We paired nursing students with older adults to engage iPad technologies in intergenerational learning and cross-cultural interactions.
