What is it about?

There are so many opportunities in material design using the high entropy effect, with the introduction of high entropy polymers, ceramics, steels and films, to mention a few. Laser-based methods are ideal for surface modifications and protective treatments for high entropy alloys as long as safety practices are observed during fabrication to avoid damage to lives and properties.
