What is it about?

This study explores how hotel employees' trust in their organization influences their commitment and job performance, with a focus on sustainable human resource management (HRM) practices. The findings indicate that when hotels implement HRM strategies that consider economic, social, and environmental sustainability (the triple bottom line), the positive effects of organizational trust on employee commitment and performance are enhanced. By integrating social exchange and paradox theories, the study highlights how hotels can balance short-term operational goals with long-term employee well-being, fostering a more resilient and productive workforce.
