Why is it important?
The PET construct is an umbrella construct and is further expanded upon to include notions of value addition, heightening awareness of a key link in the experience value addition chain.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great enjoyment as it challenged me and my co-author to to put forward ideas and present eclectic observations on active tourist participation around both the creative and social turns in tourism. It provided grounds for future tourism predictions which is always challenging.
