What is it about?

In this paper, the ideal ratio for selecting new products has been revised based on their qualitative analysis of desired/undesired functions. The proposed approach compared with other prioritization methods based on customers’ viewpoints provides more suitable prioritization. The use of the Kano model in the proposed approach results in respecting customers, understanding community needs, respecting consumers’ rights and increasing the social responsibility of the organization, which will significantly increase the chance of product success in the market.
