What is it about?
People with intellectual disabilities face a higher risk of avoidable death. We looked into what factors contribute to this risk. Our study revealed that individuals with posture or mobility difficulties are at a significantly greater risk of avoidable death. This emphasises the need to recognise and address these challenges in people with intellectual disabilities
