What is it about?
Improving Productivity of Waste Collection Process in a Textile Manufacturing Unit. The tool used in Methods Time study. The objective of the process was to reduce the number of labour that was being deployed for collecting waste from different plants.

Why is it important?
The case showcases how process mapping and analysis can help in right-sizing an activity, which leads ultimately to reducing the cost of that process.
Perspectives
The case is a result of my actual consulting assignment. I also involved my students on this assignment and it actually taught them problem solving. The recommedations given by us was accepted by the management of the company.
