What is it about?

The testing of an easily applied breathable treatment to reduce floodwater ingress through masonry

Featured Image

Why is it important?

In the face of an increase in worldwide flooding events this work uses innovative test equipment to demonstrate the effectiveness of a breathable impregnation to reduce floodwater ingress through masonry

Perspectives

As flood events become ever more extreme communal protection is proving to be inadequate. Homeowners must install measures to protect their own properties and aperture guards are only part of the equation, the porous masonry also needs suitable treatment to reduce floodwater ingress.
