What is it about?

Social enterprises aim to help farmers and fisherfolk in the Philippines, who remain among the country's poorest despite agriculture's importance. We explored how different parts of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem—policies, culture, support, services, and education—interact to aid agricultural social enterprises. Although each part functions well alone, together they disconnect. Better collaboration is needed across government, businesses, non-profits and schools to grow social enterprises that empower farmers.
