What is it about?
We measured the temperature-resistance relationship of NTCs using high-precision equipment like a water triple point cell and a thermostat bath. We used the Steinhart-Hart equation to fit the data, and our results had errors less than 1 mK with an uncertainty of 0.8 mK. This shows our method can achieve high-precision temperature measurements at the mK level, proving NTCs can be used for sub-mK measurements.
