We investigate the dual nature of "deadlines" in project management, framing them as symbols of both project completion and the onset of new initiatives, fostering cycles of "living" and "dying". By examining emotional responses to deadlines and reconceptualizing them within strategic management frameworks, we clarify their significance as a living death experience organizing.
