Exploring motivation and satisfaction in part-time PhD students

What is it about?

An increasing number of students in the United States are choosing to pursue PhDs on a part-time basis, but little is known about their experiences. This study looked at the motivation and satisfaction of these students in order to better understand why they are pursuing these degrees and what can be done to contribute to their success.
