Ecosystem of drivers for adopting integrated digital delivery for sustainable construction

What is it about?

The construction industry has been fraught with the challenge of diverse stakeholders with different specializations making it difficult for significant sustainability contributions. While the achievement of sustainable development is hinged on collaboration and technology integration, as evidenced in other industries, the design, construction and operation phases are mostly independent. Hence, the construction industry lacks the collaboration and technology integration required to achieve sustainable development. In this regard, the adoption of the Integrated digital delivery (IDD) system presents the construction industry with a digital transformation strategy with high level team and technology integration to achieve sustainable construction. Hence, this study investigates the drivers of IDD for sustainable construction.
