Additive manufacturing of shape memory polymers: effects of print orientation and infill percentage on shape memory recovery properties

What is it about?

Shape memory polymers have the ability to return to their pre-programmed shape after an external stimulus has been applied. We manufactured shape memory polymer samples by employing fused deposition modeling techniques. Additionally, the recovery shape properties were characterized.
