What is it about?
Universities in most developed countries expect researchers to follow ethical standards and protocols prescribed by research ethics committees. However, when the actual research is done in the context of the developing world, researchers may experience ethical tensions when implementing these standards and protocols in the field. We engage in critical reflexivity to examine these tensions and offer insights into ethical social entrepreneurship research involving vulnerable participants in the developing world.
