Reframing methodology: from craft to critique

What is it about?

Scientific knowledge of management and organizations is currrently contrained by a narrow methodological vision that is largely blind to, or wilfully ignorant of, the constitutive role ethics and politics. The paper exposes this limitation by interrogating the etymology of craft and commends the central role of critique as a source of liberating innovation.
