What is it about?

With the aim to reduce environment pollution, petroleum-based poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) from waste soft drink bottles is chemically incorporated into palm olein alkyd to produce new polyols for synthesis of polyurethane resins that could be used in protective coating for metal.
