What is it about?

Approximately 15% of police officers in the U.S. are women and they are required to work shift work. To our knowledge, there are no empirical studies which associate shift work and pregnancy loss among women officers. This preliminary study suggested an association between shift work and increased odds of pregnancy loss and points out the need for further study.
