What is it about?
Once in police work, officers are exposed to multiple traumas and stressors. If exposed themselves to Adverse Childhood Events (ACE), they may see those same types of ACE the themselves may have suffered. Such work exposures may exacerbate stressful or traumatic exposures and lead to psychopathology.
