What is it about?
Recovery has been debated in mental health for some time. Attempts to clarify this in the context of people with a diagnosis of schizophrenia have not resulted in a consensus. This article provokes a view of recovery with regard to salutogenesis as the base. This will enable people to re-evaluate their thoughts and practice and contextualise where we are in relation to recovery for people with a diagnosis of schizophrenia.
