What is it about?
Environmental sanitation is cardinal in the attainment of clean environment. This study posit that there is need to manage solid waste that emerge from sanitation exercise in a manner as to promote healthy environment. This paper thus examined how the different components of solid waste management (storage, collection, transportation and disposal) are done in the different residential areas of Ibadan.

Why is it important?
This study will assist in evaluating the success and failure of the monthly environmental sanitation exercise. It would also reveal to policy makers direction to which policy initiative should focus. Findings could serve as a guide for the management of solid waste from similar exercises in countries of the developing world with similar socio-economic and environmental sanitation practices
Perspectives
Getting to this point of the article publication was very tasking, however, it is interesting going through all the processes.
