Why is it important?

Our findings show that the core competence and innovativeness are the main drivers for SME success. Transformational leadership is vital for managing strategic changes in self-renewal and restructuring, entrepreneurial competence is required for seizing globalisation-related opportunities with drive, technical competence is necessary for overcoming technical challenges in Industry 4.0 environment, and finally innovativeness in product, process and behaviour is crucial for acheiving customer satisfaction, competitiveness and incalculating innovative culture.
