What is it about?
Considering the immediate threat posed by climate change, we have developed an SDG Assessment Framework that allows organizations to enhance their environmental performance by comparing it with their past and present achievements across the industry. The measurement of performance will help them modify/update business strategy either to continue with the same as it is contributing positively to the achievement of SDGs or change if it is having negative impacts on contribution to SDGs. Additionally, we have identified key determinants of corporate environmental performance disclosure

Why is it important?
The study contributes to creating a framework to assess progress on SDGs over a period of time through corporate reporting and various factors that influence this progress. Since emerging countries are catching up in adopting the SDGs agenda, this study with data from Indian corporates may highlight the progress on the same.
Perspectives
Creating this manuscript has given me an opportunity to combine my industry and academic experience into one. My learning curve has also gone above due to the sharing of thoughts and ideas with co-authors.
