The study surveyed the relationship and relative effect of self-management of library and information science professionals in effective service delivery to patrons

Why is it important?

The study found that self-management strategies and skill collectively have significant relationship with sustainable service delivery in academic libraries. Acquisition of self-management skill is critical for all library and information science professionals if the wish to remain viable and survive in the competitive information job market.. Theoretically, social learning theory can be applied in SWOT analysis of library and information science professionals in relation to their continuing self-development and quality of services
