What is it about?

This paper explores the potential of ChatGPT as an alternative to traditional knowledge base-based chatbot systems in library and information centers (LICs). The objective of the study is to assess the viability of ChatGPT-based chatbot systems and examine their scope for implementation in LICs, as well as identify possible limitations. The study also offers insights into the future possibilities of ChatGPT in LICs. Through this research, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the benefits and drawbacks of ChatGPT-based chatbots for LICs, and contribute to the ongoing conversation about the use of AI technology in information services.
