What is it about?

Support from an effective leader has been linked to well-being among physicians. Few studies have explored exactly how such leadership support works to lessen burnout and increase fulfillment. We produced preliminary evidence that leadership behavior acts by influencing the extent to which each physician feels that the free exercise of their clinical autonomy as well as their personal self-care are fully supported.
