What is it about?

The objective of this study was to investigate the understanding of healthcare simulation-based learning (SBL) and eXtended Reality (XR) haptics among healthcare academics, clinicians, and students. Additionally, it aimed to gather perspectives on potential applications, barriers, and enablers for integrating these technologies into healthcare education. Previous examinations have not delved into the opinions of stakeholders regarding XR haptics and its utilisation. The insights garnered from this survey will guide the creation of XR learning scenarios, which will be assessed for their viability in healthcare SBL settings.
