Sultanate of Oman is oil based economy. Oman Vision-2040 focuses on diversification of Oil-based economy towards tourism economy. And, this article is a research work on the growing tourism entrepreneurship in Oman.

Why is it important?
It is the right time, Sultanate of Oman is trying to explore the potential sector - Tourism Industry to make it an alternative source of economic development for the country. Thus, this study will help the areas to look into and Tourism entrepreneurship in Oman is area needs attention. This paper focuses on that issue.
Perspectives
This research study is an empirical study which after long drive got it shape. The effort of this was carried out with the co-author who is teaching the students of Tourism studies which brought us the true results.
