What is it about?

Addressing means for transforming academic research to society through start-up activity, in comparison to consultancy or transaction of intellectual property. Start-up activity has been the least common mechanism of academic entrepreneurship, but the paper shows that integrating students and other members of a university innovation system can increase the potential of this mechanism and also reduce the strain on the individual academic.
