What is it about?

We looked into how depression, anxiety, stress, fear of Covid-19, and quality of life impact the unwillingness to be vaccinated in adults from Palestinian territories and Israel. We got 1122 Palestinian adults who agreed to take part in the study. We distributed the DASS, WHO-QoL bref, FCov-19 and vaccine reluctance scale. We figured these variables would influence the vaccine choice, and it depended on the participants' location. Results showed a link between mental health, in particular depression, QoL, and fear of Covid with vaccine reluctance, and there was anxiety and depression and fear of Covid in the West Bank and Gaza, with QoL influencing Israel's vaccine choices. Our findings pointed out why it's important for public health to consider the many layers of vaccine refusal in Palestine and Israel among Palestinians.
