What is it about?
Commercial property investments in Nigeria are driven by certain factors. The question has been, "which of these factors"? This study analysed a pool of 77 factors which cuts across socio-cultural, economic and political factors, legal framework, amongst others. Principal factors were extracted and conclusions made based on the findings.

Why is it important?
Investors, appraisers and property managers may benefit from the findings as they make better investment and management decisions. Also adopting modern construction methods will cut unnecessary cost incurred from wastage of building materials and open the door to private investors with limited capital.
Perspectives
This study has been able to give a first hand and detailed information on the principal factors driving commercial property investments in Lagos. It has been able to breakdown the market into five sub-markets. This should be able to guide investors accordingly.
