This paper argues that the majority of prior research into employee wellness program effectiveness has taken a firm and an economic perspective, whereas this paper proposes an international effect between firm wellness orientation with the general wellness, active or passive, of the employees - with firm and employee wellness orientation interacting collectively driving wellness outcomes for both parties
