What is it about?
Anthropology seeks to understand human cultures and societies, studying traditions, beliefs, and social structures. Researchers interpret observed phenomena, but personal biases can influence this process. Examples include overinterpretation of voting symbolism in Chennai, India, and metaphorical interpretations of the dangers of phone conversations in a South Indian village.
